Hi Friends,
Welcome and cheers to joining me here on Out Loud. I am a pluviophile, mom and empath in upstate NY. I love solitude, but I love deep conversations. I am deeply concerned about the wellbeing of people, but I require a lot of time to recuperate from socializing. It becomes too much ‘peopling’ for me. I love my children, but some days the overwhelming role of mother has me wanting to run for cover. I am aware that I am a walking oxymoron and I don’t mind that. Aren’t we all?
On Out Loud, I want to explore the thoughts, questions and even revelations that invade my mind. It may come in the form of a quick note, a poem, and hopefully in the future, a podcast with guests who want to explore these thoughts together. We are all in this thing called life together—so why not learn, love, grow and create the lives we strive for together? I want to lay it out here with you in hopes that we can connect because there is more of what connects us than what separates us.
I want to leave you with five core principles that guide me through life:
Be your own best friend.
Speak life into yourself even on your hardest days.
Keep a healthy sense of humor.
You don't need to have it all figured out.
Love on those who love you. Time is finite.
To building ourselves and friendship.
